what's going on y'all dj song from astralis r6 and with the new season started i figured in today's article i'll be giving you guys my top 5 Roamers In Rainbow Six Siege in 2022.
Romans is essentially a seed so i'll be going over my definition of roaming the loadouts of each roamer i believe is in my top five the goal of these operators roaming and a little on how to use them each roamer and an insane play i got when i was playing one of them you know just add a little icing on the cake but as usual that's enough of me rambling let's get into it.

DEFINATION OF ROAMING
So before i get into my top five i wanted to explain a little about what roman is roaming is not going to the deepest corner of the map and just sitting there hoping that somebody pushes you or mindlessly running around the map.
that would be how you play an open world game that's not exactly how seas works. roaming in my opinion is being the first defense for your team and against the attackers while you control the area this will be any area they have to push through or an area that will make them unsafe.
while they're trying to push the objective a good example of this would be roaming penthouse and theater on coastline or roaming the bar area on clubhouse since the attackers usually like to control these areas.
Like opening hatches for pressure or breaking the penthouse 4 for vertical play when the defenders are in kitchen it's good to have a presence there to deny them of a free entry.
So do not go sit in the corner of the map and complain to your team while they're dying on site hey man what was y'all doing and then use the excuse that you wasting time.
alright though do not let that be you alright i'm gonna need y'all to get it together.
So now that i've explained where roman is it's time to go into my top five should i do it in a specific order. i think i'll do it in a specific order it'll make a little more fun that way and also if you disagree let me know in the comments below i love to hear your thoughts.
Top 5 Roamers In Rainbow Six Siege 2022
BANDIT
Number five Roamers In Rainbow Six Siege is bandit so your job with bandit. as with any roamer again three-speed operator is you have to waste time this gun has balance recoils.
so you can take fights easily recoil is not really hard control hard to control he's very strong in close range battles and he has that nitro for the plant denial. so bandit can be really aggressive like he's not really used or he doesn't have to be used for solely banded tricking.
Whenever you want to bring him if you just like the gun and you're a frag heavy person and you want to be aggressive and you want to go in the room i don't see a reason not to bring him.
Honestly there are better roamers than him which i'm going to get into after this of course but if you don't like playing anybody else on this list or anybody else like a valkyrie or a mozzie.
You just kind of want to go for kills without worrying about the intel aspect of it then bandit is just for you so what i would do honestly. when i'm playing him the areas i would try to roam is i would try to roam close to whatever area i have that can blow the wall right.
so if i'm playing a cc i'll place my batteries and then go downstairs because they're going to try to get my batteries off the wall from going downstairs in the stockroom or the lounge area right.
so that's pretty much how i would play him or you could play raptors with bandit if you want to some people are good with long range fights with smgs some are not.
So it just pretty much depends on your strength as a player but the same thing like with other operators. he has a nitro for post plant three speed operator you could be aggressive so that's pretty much why i have him on the list.
VALKYRIE
Number four Roamers In Rainbow Six Siege spot and that's going to valkyrie so the reason why i say valkyrie is number four on my list is because of the intel that she's able to provide.
i use cafe for the example here so say you have a camera watching underneath the table here watching a new hash drop you have a camera white stairs and you also have a camera and piano.
These are all areas that are high traffic when playing this map a lot of teams like the push piano so they have that type of control when they're pushing the bar or the sight that's upstairs on the third floor and a lot of people like to drop red hatch in order to blow the red wall.
So they have control in the piano something like a knock or ash or somebody like that like to sneak up red stairs especially if you don't have a lesion or barbed wire so that's why i have the camera on white to see any intel or see any people that will push up those steps.
The camera that's underneath the table is for if someone drops new hatch i can get an easy c4 kill there so this is giving away a lot of my tech.
You know here we are so the reason why i say valkyrie is a great roamer is because you don't have to play her on site you can literally just be anywhere on the map use your cameras for those type of intels to see where the attackers are pushing from and then be able to get pics like that.
But that's pretty much all i have to say for her like there is nothing really much extensive to say where her hairs she's just a great rumor because she provides a lot of intel.
So if you play her on any other map just be sure to use her like you would use her own cafe put your cameras in high areas of traffic and i guarantee you seeing how the enemy attacks stuff and seeing what they're doing is gonna allow you to get way more picks.
MOZZIE
Number three Roamers In Rainbow Six Siege spot so the reason why i say mozzie is able to do what val can do but better is because he's able to have the ability to move his drones.
so say you throw a camera up really high in the area and you can't shoot it down or there's no way you can get to it you're not mr incredible mr fantastic you don't have any type of superpowers.
You can't fly up or stretch to get it any of my one piece people you're not monkey d luffy okay so if you need to get your camera right there's no way for you to do that with mazi.
You're able to move your drone you're able to move it wherever whenever you want to the only exception is if you're dead you can't really like move your drone around.
if you're dead so with mozzie say there's nobody pushing that area so that camera is going to be useless you can drive your drone into another area.
that's high traffic hopefully without them seeing it and still have valuable intel there without having a wasted can if that makes sense.
Yeah valkyrie can throw her cameras outside and all that stuff yes but people aren't going to be outside for the whole round they have to push into the building sooner or later right.
so mozzie i'm putting above valkyrie just for that very reason the same thing goes for his kid he can nitro just like she can with the intel provided from the drone and arguably the commando in my opinion is a better gun than the mpx so i'm riding with mozzie over to valkyrie but that's all i have to really say about him.
CAVIERA
number two Roamers In Rainbow Six Siege spot and that's going to kavira look a lot of people will say that she's useless and you're picking her just to go into dark corners like i explained in the beginning.
But if you use cav right she can literally terrorize the other team so for her loadout let me tell y'all something a little bit right this smg really feels good to use.
but since kavira can get into like close range or she's going to get into close range right from people her loadout is really like you can use whatever you want but if you it just depends on how what type of player you are like.
If you want to get up close on people or you can run the shotgun all day but if you're somebody like me that likes range fights you're definitely going to use the m12 but most of the time you're gonna have her secondary pistol out because that's what she uses when she goes into her ability.
which is the silent step and they've nerfed this like over time it used to be crazy strong in the early days of siege but since they nerfed it a little it's not really it's balanced.
If you ask me like when i get down by kavira i don't find myself like complaining that the gun is too strong like i used to or anything like that. but her secondary gun is really good so what makes her kit really strong is not only does she have the impacts to get away from areas quickly she can also use a proximity alarm to let you know that there's somebody there.
So if you were to sneak up on somebody using the proximity alarm you're going to be able to get that interrogation a lot quicker than if you had to rely on your team for intel.
if that makes sense like most of us have had those teammates that don't say anything or they're not talking the game most of them like to type out call.
I was like y'all know who i'm talking about so this makes it when you're playing cav to literally know for sure that there is somebody in the area when they pass it.
especially if you're playing that area so her ability to get interrogations and all that stuff makes it all the better if you run this proximity alarm so this is my loadout really the m12 with her and her ability to get into is why i have her.
VIGIL
Number one Roamers In Rainbow Six Siege spot my man's vigil. vigil is the definition of a roamer right and let me explain to y'all why?
In the k-1a he has literally probably one of the best guns if not the best gun on defense i probably would i probably would call it the best gun on defense.
honestly when you're roaming and you're shooting this thing is just a monster to use in all honesty the way it sounds the way it feels is just it's just good visual is top tier.
So with this i run a hollow i run a flash hider because if you can see from the graph every other one is kind of like spread out in terms of recoil so the flash hider allows me to get the best recoil.
you could argue that the muzzle brake does but that's really for single shot firing so i will run the flash hider on him if you want to use visual but the reason that he's top tier is not only his assault rifle good he also has an smg now this smg is very hard to control in terms of recoil but if you whiff the shots with the primary like i tend to do you can break out the smg even if you're close and you're able to get those kills.
So i didn't want to go into a great deal about his loadout pretty much he has a good primary his secondary allows it so that you can switch to it quickly and get those frags that you might miss on when you're out of ammo in your primary.
if you whiff a little bit and the impact grenades make it easier to get out of sticky situations and the bulletproof cam allows it so you can get into on areas you might be roaming in.
So that's pretty much his kit is pretty much fitted just for himself besides the camera could be used for his team but for the most part he is a one-man show. So now pretty much i'm gonna get into the goal of using vigil so your goal when you're playing vigil is going to be.
Basically you're going to be your team's first line of defense the best way to get the most out of him is to roam areas that are like heavy traffic areas.
So if you're playing clubhouse and your team goes downstairs and you know that the enemy team has the blow hatches and stuff like that in order to provide pressure you're probably going to roam either the bar area or bedroom upstairs or somewhere close to where they have to go to get the hatches.
You could even roam the lounge area you could be in the garage because a lot of people like to push that but you're basically going to be a time deterrent for the team that's pretty much how you do any roamer honestly but visual you could do it the most because he has on his gadget he can't be able to be seen by drones.
So when you're in an area and they drone it and they get the little glitchy stuff around their screen for lack of a better word when they get the glitchy stuff on the screen right they're not gonna know where you are.
