How to Make a Conference Call on Avaya Phones
currently I'm on my phone call with a person calling in at this point I can hit the conference button I hit the conference button just like on the transfer.
it puts the first caller on hold and it gives me access to my second call appearance I can now dial the second extension or external user whatever I want in this case out mid dial an internal user here.
I'm gonna pick up the phone and then back over here I hit the conference button again this merged the two appearances into one appearance and now it shows on the screen conference 100.
right now I have three calls in the conference and I could add more the same way again hitting the conference button not having the extension or the external party and hitting the conference button again.
That will merge them all into the conference so even though you only have three appearances you could have many more people in the conference but either calling them and merging them in to the call or them calling you and you merging them into the call using the conference button.
To remove people are to hang up from the conference hit the drop button when you hit the drop button on the screen that will tell you the the party. that's my current extension I can drop myself and in certain instances this will allow the conference to continue it.
in certain instances it will not I can mute the party for example let's say one member of the party put you on hold and now you have their music on hold or I could exit I could also scroll through the list.
so we here it shows extension two of two that's the other party I could drop that person mute them and then finally is the external party which in this case is the phone call from my from an external phone.
again I could drop mute or exit and over here it showed me show their name or company allow you to easily identify the party that you want to drop mute writes it.
again you could also hit the details button and that will give you the same options as the drop button again these buttons will change periodically when you're navigating the phone.
