Today we're going to be talking about what i would rank the top 10 weapons in apex legend season 9. now this is specifically kind of focusing more on battle royale because in arenas you have the economy to takeninto consideration.
but overall these other weapons i'd consider the most versatilenthe most powerful and the most likely things you're going to be seeing on players right now. so we're going to start from number 10 and make our way up to number one.
Top 10 Best Weapons In Apex Legends 2022
now i wouldn't necessarily say number one is better than say number five or anything like that it really is just kind of neck and neck. when it comes to the top five or six weapons here. but overall i think you're gonna like using these weapons. so i'm gonna start this list with what i think is quite a surprising choice.
SENTINEL
it's the sentinel now the sentinel is obviously kind of out shown right now but the bow and obviously the bow is on this list. but the reason why i think the sentinel is pretty powerful right now is because it can do a decent amount of damage and when you pair it with the new hop-up.
you can fire reasonably fast to the point where it feels like a bit more of a powerful longbow the longbow being just not quite enough damage to deal out with that kind of weapon you kind of want something a bit more heavy hitting when you're using a sniper in my opinion.
so the sentinel is where it's at and if you charge it up as well and get the hop up then you're kind of good to go. now finding all of these things enough cells the hop-up and the sentinel itself can be hard sometimes.
but let's say you come across a gold sentinel which is in the game right now then yeah i'd say you may want to consider picking up you can always just throw off the 4 to 10x optic.
now if you don't want it and it can be very powerful it's sort of like a mid-range engagement tool you use it to kind of do a lot of damage to create a good push of players but with that new hop-up it does allow you to kind of just get a few more shots in there when it really matters.
PEACEKEEPER
so up next Best Weapons In Apex Legends we got the peacekeeper now the peacekeeper is in my opinion kind of like the go-to shotgun if you want to have a weapon that you can use to come back from the dead.
so to speak let's say you get pushed and you have like no health and you want a weapon that's gonna be able to win you in that situation it's the peacekeeper.
it's the highest damage per shot shotgun when you land your shots you do have to pump it but you can peek in and out of cover. you can play well around cover and then when you do that then the pitch keeper can be really powerful now when you don't hit your shots that's the problem and the peacekeeper is really unforgiving in that way. so it's not really ranked any higher.
EVA 8
next we have the eva 8 which is a very forgiving shotgun and still massively underrated in the shotgun class and i think that it's just such a powerful gun all you need to do is just hold down the fire button it's full auto and the rest will be done for you.
it's really that simple it's very fast firing very high damage per shot weapon when you're up close even up to like a distance of maybe 10 meters this thing can still hit reliably 60 damage per shot which is pretty good. when you can fire so fast especially when you get your hands on a purple bolt.
BOW TECH
up next Best Weapons In Apex Legends we have the bow tech bow now the bowtie bow has been a nightmare for a lot of people it's one of those weapons that's just so powerful to the point where a lot of people are screaming nerfs right from the beginning and i have to agree it has launched very powerful.
it's a very strong weapon the bullet travel time is way too fast on it which makes it more sort of more useful than any sniper in the game. to be honest the way you can use it by just peeking in and out of cover to charge up. the bow shot is really effective and that's why it's so annoying to fight against in arenas because people hold angles and just peek in and out of cover like that and have that kind of play style.
which really leans in the bow's favor in arenas sorry in a battle royale rather where things a little bit more open you have more opportunities to flank players it does lose its power a little bit up close though.
it can still be very good in hip fire and just yeah it definitely needs a hip fire enough it needs a bullet travel time nerve and then it will be pretty decent. i would say the recent nerf has knocked it down its value a little bit in battle royale because you do struggle to find arrows a bit more damage reduction is a nice little change.
it's not like you can't just use the bow and only the bow and always win you know full auto weapons always kind of come out on top in a lot of cases.
SPITFIRE
next we've got the spitfire the spitfire also got a nerf this season but it's still just ridiculous the hip fire on this thing is still really good. the power for this thing is just ridiculous the fact that you can just hold down the fire button for so long.
basically if they miss any of their shots you're probably gonna win the fight right because they're gonna need to reload it's that kind of thing where you know the spitfire rewards bad aim in a way. if two people with not so great aim fight up against each other the spitfire's gonna win sure.
If you have pretty much any other gun and you actually hit enough shots to one clip someone then that weapon will be over the spitfire but in some cases it's just not always that easy movement is a big thing in apex.
it's a weapon that people can crutch on a bit too much it's still very effective long range is a very suppressive weapon as well. i honestly think you know it's a bit overpowered.
WINGMAN
up next Best Weapons In Apex Legends we have the wingman now to me the wingman yes is a very hard weapon to use in season 8 i kind of dropped it out of my weapon tier list because i thought yeah i agree it's hard to use but it's back.
because i think that 14 favors the bold and and if you learn how to use this weapon you're going to be rewarded massively. it's such a high damage per shot weapon and to me this is the kind of thing you're going to want off drop nowadays because people all start with white armor you're not going to be one clipping up people with r9.
so easily anymore you're not going to be one-shotting people with peacekeepers because that extra 50 health is really going to make a difference.
The six shots in a wingman is gonna give you enough damage to knock somebody in late game the wingman is still very valuable it's really good up close it's pretty decent at some pretty long ranges as well it's a very good weapon because you don't have to worry too much about your ammo count. i just think everyone should take some time to try and learn to use this a bit more.
in my opinion it's just such a high heavy damage weapon and the fact that you get really good movement whilst using it as well all the pistols in this game. the p2020 the wingman and the mozambique surprisingly all give you the same ads movement speed as if you were hip firing.
so you can move back and forth really fast and just spam around with your animations and become a very hard to hit target whilst you're spamming 45 damage plus shots it's pretty good.
THE R99
up next Best Weapons In Apex Legends we have the r99 now the r99 is still a beam machine if you can hit your shots you're going to be one clipping people over time.
It's got one of the highest dps's in the game i think the havoc and perhaps the al star are higher but you're going to need the turbocharger on the havoc and the star is a bit of a weird one to use especially in battle royale.
but the r9 is always going to be that one stop show when you want to just knock someone as quickly as possible and yes it's got pretty harsh recoil but you just got to pull down.
It's not that hard to control honestly the only issue with the r9 is that you do empty that mag very very quickly you're going to be out of ammo very fast. i've kind of put the vault next it's a little bit more forgiving.
It's a little bit longer range yes it's not quite as high dps as the r99 i think it's about 20 less dps now since the nerf and i think season six or seven either way it's still pretty versatile.
it's still pretty decent it's definitely gonna be one of the weapons you're gonna be wanting to use. it's great up close it's got really good hip fire really fast reload speed and overall just a really useful weapon.
FLAT LINE
next we have the flat line to me the flatline is like the more refined more powerful spitfire. it deals out more damage per shot it's going to get your kills faster yes it has a much smaller magazine size.
but overall it's a very powerful weapon that does take some practice to master. it has a recoil a little bit harder than the r301 but definitely a weapon that you'll want to master flying's pretty decent.

up next Best Weapons In Apex Legends we do have the r301 which is a very it's just the most versatile weapon in the game to me it's the all reliable r301 to me whenever you need something to do everything let's say you take a peacekeeper or you take a charge rifle when you need something that can basically fill in the gaps for everything else in the game.
the r31 is there very easy recoil control very decent damage not the highest dps but it is pretty close to be honest. you even have the hop up on there still the anvil receiver although not always going to be finding use for that.
to be honest overall it's just a really versatile easy to use weapon that i would recommend everyone to put more attention to.
